Hi! I am Courtney, a mom to 2 kids, an occupational therapist, board certified behavior analyst, and faculty member in San Jose State University’s Occupational Therapy program!
OT OuTside started as an Instagram account in 2015 when I was home with a 2 year old and infant. I hope to inspire caregivers and fellow therapists with easy, fun, and intentional ways to connect with children and knowledge about the benefits of play, sensory experiences, and the magic of process art to aid development.
OT OuTside has evolved from a weekly outdoor toddler group to bring together parents and tots for sensory based activities and process art projects to now more sporadic (on demand) group sessions.
Currently, we work with clients individually and in small group sessions at their home or school.
When not getting messy with toddlers or working with clients of all ages privately in their home or school, Courtney teaches at San Jose State University in the Master of Occupational Therapy and Doctorate programs!
